Hi all,

A couple of years ago I installed on my miggy NetBSD 1.1 (or maybe was
1.2).
I had (and have right now) a picassoIV gfx board, so
I had to use a special recompiled kernel with the picasso
support and everything worked fine.

Now, I downloaded NetBSD 1.4 (I'm going to download 1.4.1 right now :))
and started the installation,
but my machine wont boot.
I guess that is because the generic kernel I downloaded have no support
for the PIV, or maybe
because I have to pass to the kernel some arguments....
I also tried with the 1.2 kernel for the picasso downloaded
from the villagetronic site...netbsd boots but as soon
as I tell him to use sd0b as root (thet is the swap
partition where I transfered the miniroot image)
I get a "panic" error ...

My config is:
A4000T (escom) 16MB fast
HD IDE seagate 250MB (this is for netbsd)
HD SCSI 4GB (maybe I'm going to install netbsd
on some partitions there later)
zip ide ATAPI
cdrom scsi 24x pioneer...

hope someone can help.

thnx in advance

Ciro.
