Hello,

i get this message each time i try to access the network:
le0: lost carrier

it appear at netstart, when trying to ifconfig le0 192.168.0.1 netmask
ffffff00
cabling is OK, and using arp -a, i can see MAC addresses of other machines
on
the LAN (note i should first ifconfig le0 down), but i can't ping them...

my network board is an old Ariadne I, connected to an Ethernet LAN, i'm
using
a custom 1.4 kernel
