with mtools you should use

- /dev/rfd0a (or /dev/rfd1a, /dev/rfd2a, /dev/rfd3a) for 880k/1760k-disks
- /dev/rfd0b (or /dev/rfd1b, /dev/rfd2b, /dev/rfd3b) for 720k/1440k-disks
