IRIX Tar file

Hi there,

I'm using HP1533A which supports DDS1 and 2. I can read any NetBSD tared files
>from the DAT. There is no problem, however I couldn't read any tared
IRIX files. Have anyone tried to read a tar file on DAT4mm created in
IRIX?

I found the key block size of IRIX DAT device is 512. So I tried some
commands like below...

dd if=/dev/rst0 ibs=512b of=- obs=20b conv=swab | tar -tvf -

I'm using NetBSD 1.3.3 on A4k/Warp040/40.
