Hello Ignatios,
If it is posssible, and you have the time, could you please clarify where to
put the following line:
/usr/sbin/grfconfig /dev/grf5 /etc/grfmodes
I have it at the end of rc.local now, but there was some discussion a while
ago concerning this.
can somebody suggest a good place? My main working machine still has a
board with compiled-into-the-driver grfmodes, so I can't really tell from
experience...
it would have to be in /etc/rc _before_ xdm is called.
Or set the xdm variable to false in rc.conf, and call grfconfig from rc.local
and xdm afterwards.
Regards,
Ignatios
