Adding Packages

Hello, 
I have already downloaded the tar files for the packages (and thier
dependancies) how can i now use pkg_add to extract them properly? the reason
being that downloading the files on my netbsd system would be too slow
compared with the faster modem on the other computer. Any way of using pkg_add
in this situation? or do i have to extract the packages manually?
