And here is your problem. You must *NOT* set "PREFIX" in "/etc/mk.conf".
You can set "LOCALBASE" and "X11BASE" - although this will break lots
of X11 packages. Remove that line, recompile and reinstall the "qt"
and the "kdelibs" package.
