DCHP server

My connection to the Internet is a cable modem.  The setup supports ibem's
and MAC's but no help for NetBSD.  They require the software to get the
Gateway, IP, DNS dynamically.  They use a DCHP server I think to accomplish
that does anyone know anything about setting up the NetBSD or the Amiga for
that matter to access such a system.  I really hate to use this ibem for my
Internet connection
