What is the proper way for adding users (or changing passwords)
in NetBSD amiga 1.3.2?

I tried the way descibed in the NetBSD-Amiga FAQ, ie: vipw then chpass,
but it messed up my password system: I was unable to login as root, =

and have had to re-install NetBSD!!!
