Subject: kernel and Yamaha cd writer

I recently installed the Yamaha CD-writer. When booting, the kernel
shows the following error:

All other devices are scanned correctly.

'loadbsd -I ff netbsd' doesn't help either.
(sync off. sync is on per default)

- I don't know how I can test the writer with NetBSD.
- Has this error any consequence on the correct operation of the
  kernel and the entire system?
- How can I avoid it?
