I have startup problems with fvwm2. I downloaded the package
fvwm-2.0.46.tar.gz, which, I believe, is one of the last versions,
compiled (no errors) and installed it. I didn't change 'configure.h'
and 'Fvwm.tmpl'.

When trying to load the window manager, I get the following error
message (stderr):

[FVWM][main]: <<ERROR>> can't open display 
----- cut here -----

~/.fvwm2rc imho doesn't allow any settings for the display.

What went wrong.
