the FAS216 is a ncr53c9x derivate. (by NetBSDs opinion, I do not know
the base chip fuctionality enough to make a comparision :)  )

More the other way around, a 1.3 kernel with a 1.3.2 bin-dist, until you can
recompile your own kernel :)
