The workaround seems to be building a kernel with LIMITMEM to 64MB.

If I don't, the kernel still hangs at boot when it finds either 80
(loadbsd without -n option) or 96 MB (with -n2) on the WarpEngine4040.

Using a LIMITMEM kernel works fine and very stable, but leaves 32MB
unused.
