hi,
I installed 1.3.1 and X11R6. =
Everything works fine except of X. I configured X for use with my CV64/3=
d (grfmodes, Xservers, xinitrc, paths).
If I try to start with "startx" I get an error message:
X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)
I=B4ve edit the line ":0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X -dev /dev/grf7 -mode 4" i=
n /.../lib/X11/xdm/Xservers
I did everything like the Install.X11 says (I think :-)
I tried to run X manually with the same options and it worked.
Another Problem:
If I try to execute the install.sh from "bash-2.0..." package I get a sim=
ple error message "can=B4t open "/.../install.sh"
It=B4s the same with every install-script from any package.
Everything is done as "root".
Thanx
regards
Sven
