I believe I missed something here. The question was whether the CV64
supports 15, 16 and 24 bits.

The X11.INSTALL says:

grf5: 8,15,16,24,32
[...]

*Does* grf5 support 15, 16 and 24 bits?
According the above, I'd go for "yes".
