Hello,
as I write this lines, MACHINE_NEW_NONCONTIG support is being committed
to the tree. You should see this in your sup updates in a day or two.
To recompile your kernels, you must
- remove "options MACHINE_NONCONTIG" from your configuration files, if not
GENERIC or DRACO
- re-run config, make depend && make
You don't need to add MACHINE_NEW_NONCONTIG, it's in std.amiga.
This has been tested on a DraCo and on an Amiga 3000 w. 68040/ppc board (on
68040 of course), but you might watch for problems, and report them on port-amga or (preferabel) using send-pr.
[MACHINE_NEW_NONCONTIG is needed for UVM, the new VM system for NetBSD that's
being integrated currently.]
Regards,
Ignatios Souvatzis
