I boot 'bsd by powering up the machine, and holding down both mouse
buttons (I have a 2.04 ROM). I then select the root partition from the
boot menu, which loads the kernel and boots NetBSD.

If I boot the AmigaDOS partition, it softkicks in 3.1.. but since I boot
netbsd before it gets this far, I imagine this isn't a problem..

Fixed. Stupid problem, I had an empty line at the bottom of the passwd
file :)
