Hello,
I just installed 1.3 on my A3000 (2M chip, 8M fast, ariadne..
20M / , 20M swap, 80M /usr ). I've been having two problems:
1) Reboot code doesn't work. Whether I halt and then reboot,
or just give it C-A-A, the machine just hangs at a gray screen.
It doesn't even make it to the AmigaDOS boot menu.
2) Can't add new users. If I run vipw and add the line
george::101:200::0:0:George:/home/george:/bin/csh
, upon exit I get the following:
/etc/ptmp: 13 lines, 726 characters
pwd_mkdb: corrupted entry
pwd_mkdb: at line #13
pwd_mkdb: /etc/ptmpt: Inappropriate file type or format.
where line 13 is the line I added. Group 200 exists and has 'george' as
a member. /home/george exists, too.
Any ideas on how to fix this behaviour?
