newfs during installation

I heard that the newfs command, which is started by the NetBSD 1.3
installation, should give out certain numbers, starting with "0". My
installation on the JAZ (firmware J^77) started however with "32", the
second number was "9568", ...

Does this indicate a problem?
(e.g. that the JAZ can't be used with NetBSD 1.3)
