Hi,

I have recently upgraded my system to NetBSD 1.3 from 1.1. I remember that
it took about
30 minutes to recompile a kernel under 1.1. Now it takes several hours.
Is this normal?

My system:
A3000 12M Fast RAM Ariadne, MFC III, GVP spectrum video card.

Also, when I try the new kernel, savecore complains about not find a
device xx/xx.
The device numbers changes from one build to the next. Netstat -r
complains with
"kvm_read: bad_address".

I boot my system using the bootblock method with the following: -I255 -aS

Thanks for your help,
John
