thanks for the advice about the monitor. But there must be a way to give
Xamiga enough from the 2 MB Chip-Mem for depth 8 
loadbsd -A comes up with adwanced screenmode.

Is there a way to adjust PAL/NTSC Highres (lanced) ?.
binpatch ? kernel ?

X with 4 planes is poor. 

A1200, 12030/50 32MB Fast Netbsd 1.2.1 Generic X6.1 and the good old C=
Monitor ( He has a long life ! )
