I am looking for a program that will listen on the modem device
and when a certain sequence of rings appear then it starts a
ppp session with my ISP. This is so I can leave my machine switched
on all day and connect to it from work, without leaving it connected
to my ISP all day.
I have looked everywhere for a program like this and could only
find ones that work only on linux (ringd , ringconnectd etc). These
programs rely on an ioctl call that isnt supported by NetBSD.
I have also searched the tech-net mailing list but couldnt find anything.
I assume someone else has done this for NetBSD, anyone know where
I can get such a program ?
Thanks,
..Chris.
