Right. I looked into kernel's sources and the calculations are ok, taking
smaller of the two values, i.e. min(SecsPerCylinder, SecsPerTrack * Heads).

Anyway, I still have problems using the disk. In the meantime I've been
playing with my CD (Toshiba XM-5601B) and it worked ok, but as soon as I try
to read a file from the Fireball, NetBSD panics or freezes.

Now, you may tell me to just discard the drive, but please consider that it
performs flawlessly under AmigaOS (cybscsi.device v8.6), so I guess the
problem is in NetBSD. I've even talked to Ralph Schmidt (the author of
cybscsi.device) to make sure he hadn't had to code around any pecularities
of Quantum Fireballs and he denied such thing.

Do you know what it does under 1.3?

Thanks,
