He don't need to compile his own kernel. There is a kernel on
ftp://ftp.uni-regensburg.de/pub/NetBSD-Amiga/kernel
-rw-rw-r-- 1 39068 ftpadmin 579598 Jun 26 17:28 PicassoIV-1.2.1-kernel.gz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 39068 ftpadmin 652 Jun 26 17:33 PicassoIV-1.2.1-kernel.readme
and this is a kernel for 1.2:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 39068 ftpadmin 578287 Apr 19 13:43
PicassoIV-MerlinZorroIII-kernel2.gz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 39068 ftpadmin 726 Apr 19 13:43
PicassoIV-MerlinZorroIII-kernel2.reame
But you can get patches from the experimental directory and build your own
kernel:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 39068 ftpadmin 742 Apr 23 20:08
PicassoIV-MerlinZorroIII-source2.readme
-rw-rw-r-- 1 39068 ftpadmin 33163 Apr 23 20:09
PicassoIV-MerlinZorroIII-source2.tgz
