hi ,

who has time and the "nerve" to help me with my EGS/NetBSD problem ????

the Xamiga.cirrus refuses to load. On the boot-up the Piccolo is recognized
and it says: "grfrcl: 2MB Piccolo........"
 the console is setup with 640x480 16 col
I can only use Xamiga and open X up on my second monitor (C-1084) & and toggle
it to the VgaMonitor- but only with 16col which are NOT recognized by their
names (xpaint refueses to open...)

well i tried EGS2GRFCONFIG and set up a grfmodes-files with its results : grf3
/grfconfig grfmodes  shows funny results 310kHz/250 Hz etc. ETC.

anybody has an idea how to get out of this mess ??? thanx in adv.
