Is this going to be 8 total megs? or 16 total?

My setup is A3000/030-25 2meg chip, 16meg fast.

Originally, I was running it with 8 meg fast.  The additional 8 was
definately worth it.  With 8 megs, you are going to be swapping
constantly.  Even with 16, I swap a lot, but not nearly as much as when
I had less RAM.

If you have a 28.8k, you can get decent X over a modem using something
like dxpc.

Yup, should be roughly equiv to a Sun3/80.

The highest I ran it was a fully overscanned NTSC Hires-lace (724x480?).
I never even considered going higher than that cuz I was using a VGA
monitor plugged into the built in VGA port which did not handle the
productivity modes very well.

I'm using the past tense here cuz I recently got a Picasso IV and have
not yet figured out how to convert my amigados monitors file to the
format that I need for X11.
