Indeed, however, try out ssh (secure shell) it will let you do *compressed* X11 forwards

yes, 640x480 is supported. but hey, you have an 3000, get a gfx board because the native ECS
chipset is deadly slow. You're also not allowed more than 16 colors in high-res :*(
I've heard from people with a CV64 that opaque window movement in fvwm2 is no pain at all :)

Anyway, running Unix on an Amiga is really possible. don't expect SGI/CRAY performance
though and better add 16mb ram extra if you're really deep in to X11 usage :)

p.s. Phase5 says it will use a Unix (micro?) kernel as the basis for the A/BOX OS.
