port-amiga: Problems using BFFSv1.5 on floppies

I tried to install BFFSv1.5 via MFS on my floppy drives. 
But each time I insert a disk (no matter what filesystem it has) a
system-requester opens up: "Volume (...) Block 16 Size 512 has a read error.".
When I close it, it opens up again and again until the system hangs.

I tried it with several disks, also with disks formatted (successfully) under
NetBSD.
 
What is wrong?
