config swap

Greetings.

I am unable to find an explanation in the FAQ anywhere about how to configure
swap on a different drive than the root.  I've tried changing the last
line of my kernal configuration file to:
config swap on sd2 root on sd1

but I compile for about 25 minutes and get an error message which for the
moment I cannot recall.

Can anybody point me in the proper direction?
