No, i made X11R6.1 with libc 12.5.
But i saw now a posting on comp.unix.amiga which could explains it.
Are you using the NetBSD X11R6.1 or the OpenBSD version?
It seems for me that you got the OpenBSD version which does not work on NetBSD.
OpenBSD 2.0 seems to have libc 12.7.
