Removable media works fine.  I used to have the whole of NetBSD 1.1
installed on a single SyQuest 270M cartridge.

Remember that you have to partition the drive as you would for AmigaOS, and
set the DOSTypes as in the INSTALL documentation.  Essentially just pretend
that it isn't removable!
