Configuring swap location, auto man->cat.

1) I have a Seagate drive and a Jaz. My spare root is on the Jaz. How can
I use config to specify that my swap partition is always on the Seagate
even when I tell NetBSD to boot from the Jaz by giving the -b flag loadbsd?
Also, where can I find more information on details of the configuration
file format? I did a man config (8) and found 1 page that doesn't tell me
what the last line of the config file (config netbsd swap on generic) does.
I tried changing "generic" to sd0b but config doesn't like that at all.

2) Many packages don't automatically generate nroff formatted versions of
their man.1 files. This makes using manpages slow (regeneration of .0
files w. each access). I can go in and manually use nroff to get the .0
files but I'm wondering if there is a tried and true way to sweep the man
directories and generate .0s for all .1s that need them.
