Sleep, with the argument 2, 3, or 4 dumps core on my system.
It works fine if I have it wait 1 or 5 seconds. This is odd.
   Have others noticed this problem?

No, but I'll try at home. (I must admit that I normally use 'sleep 1'
or 'sleep 5' in my shell scripts :-)

   Is this an '060 thing?

I hope not :-)
