Why i can't install from ms-dos disks?

Hello people from port-amiga.
I don't have any knowledge of the unix operating system, nor have 
ability to install the netbsd system to my current computer, but i 
want to ask a little question.
If i download from the ftp server the disks and save them to ms-dos 
floppies, could i be able to transfer them to the wokbench and then 
to make the installation runs normally?
