Answering the network questions.

I may have messed up my installation of NetBSD-1.2 regarding how it sees
itself as a network.

I do have an Ariadne (sp?) network card and answered yes when the install
asked me if I had one. I gave it the first choice es0: I believe. It then
asked me for an IP number, name of my machine, default.host.name and so
on.

Well, the machine that I HAD hooked up to the etherenet is no longer
there.

1. Where does this information get stored so i can undo it? Or for that
matter, re-add it when I have something connected?

2. What answers should I have if my machine will be running with no
network mostly, with the occasional PPP connection to my ISP? The ppp
connection is Dynamic so i don't have a set IP number to feed it.

3. now I can probably figure out the top two if someone can give me
direction (or point me to the FAQ) that will get me either read and write
access to the floppy drive (IBM format I suppose) so I can copy my
configuration files off to include into e-mail to show exact problems or
errors (I know exact info helps the developers so much better :)

Or, help me get my printer working so I can print out all the config files
and have them infront of me as I read my texts on UNIX administration.

It is frustrating to not be able to see and work with all the files at
once so i can see how they relate, and I feel stupid asking questions when
i cannot remember the exact details of the errors I encounter because i
have had to drop to the Amiga OS to log on and write the mail :I

I do want to thank everyone that worked on NetBSD and X11, it is a real
pleasure to learn on! :))

Nick.
