I've got a pretty funky issue where booting with ACPI then rebooting
even with ACPI off results in a non-working keyboard. I have to cold
boot with ACPI off (or reboot another time).

I'm not good enough to figure these things out yet, so it's out there.
It took me long enough to figure out when it's failing that I'm
mentioning it anyway.

Might be relevant.

(and yes, I did file it as a bug - kern/50586).
