I used to get this, too. But the problem seems to have disappeared, at least on recent (last 30 days or so) -current kernels (within the last 30 days or so). I don't know of any specific commit that would have fixed this, but if someone can narrow it down it would be nice to get it pulled up to netbsd-7 branch before we ship 7.1 :)What's the timeline for 7.1?You might like to try http://nyftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-7/201511070620Z/amd64/binary/kernel/netbsd-GENERIC.gz which has the fixes I *think* might fix things. And indeed it fixed the issue I had. Thanks.
Wonderful - it looks like my recent fixes for process children/state accounting helped this problem, too! All of my fixes have already been pulled up to the netbsd-7 and netbsd-7-0 branches, so they'll be included in any subsequent releases. +------------------+--------------------------+-------------------------+ | Paul Goyette | PGP Key fingerprint: | E-mail addresses: | | (Retired) | FA29 0E3B 35AF E8AE 6651 | paul at whooppee.com | | Kernel Developer | 0786 F758 55DE 53BA 7731 | pgoyette at netbsd.org | +------------------+--------------------------+-------------------------+
