You can try to copy mfi.c and related:
ic/mfi.c ic/mfiio.h ic/mfireg.h ic/mfivar.h pci/mfi_pci.c to a netbsd
6.1.5 source tree and recompile a kernel.

Actually netbsd-7 is close to RC1. The only known issues left is related
to DRM/KMS with some radeon cards. Shouldn't matter for a server if you
don't need X11 (or you can disable drm in your kernel config).
