discussion on recursive panic() in ddb on port-i386

Hi all,

I started a thread on port-i386 about a recursive panic() in ddb on
i386 systems.  I thought some of you might be interested -- especially
amd64 folks -- because a similar bug might be present in other
architectures.  (I have not tested any other architectures to see if
they exhibit a similar problem.)
