I don't have a K8MM-ILSR, but I had similar problems with SATA and 2.0.2
on a nforce4 ultra board.

If possible, I suggest using a newer kernel.  A -current kernel
supports my board a LOT better than 2.0.2, especially SATA.

If you must use 2.0.2, try turning off "APIC Mode" in the
firmware (BIOS).  This allowed 2.0.2 to talk to my SATA drives,
although not at full speed.  With the -current kernel I
get full speed from the drives and I don't have to turn
off "APIC Mode" in the firmware to do it.
