Well, that's strange. I recall testing an onboard SiI3114 on the amd64
port, and it seemed to work fine.

Can you send the bootmessages for both an i386 and an amd64 kernel,
with MPVERBOSE enabled? I'd just like to see if they are any different
from eachother.
