I very much appreciate your comments, I will wait until the 2.0 stable
release before I proceed with my project. I am still uncertain what approach
I should take... an alternative approach (to NETBSD) is to load the 64 bit
Microsoft XP operating system and develop the applications using C# in
Visual Studio .NET, it is a very nice and productive IDE, which I already
have. What chance is there of a .NET clr for NETBSD? Is there a project for
this already underway? If there was a .NET CLR for NETBsd, I could develop
the applications in VS.NET and deploy them onto the NETBSD box.
