No, just haven’t gotten around to figure out why the panic happens there.  It seems to be unique to you.  Or maybe CIA chipset specific?

Anyway, to figure out what’s happening, I’m going to need to build you another image with some additional debugging in it.  Stay tuned, I’m planning to poke at it today.

BTW - is it possible for you to set up a net-boot server for your Alpha?  It would make the turn-around a /lot/ faster.

I can net boot a SPARCStation 20 from a FreeBSD server so I guess
the DEC Alpha is also a doable thingie.

However I have made zero progress on that in weeks.

Any day real soon now.

Net boot config in place for an older SPARCStation 20 and it works :

Now then the real problem is what to serve to the DEC Alpha to get
it to net boot. I have no clue where to start on that and no clue
what the firmware/prom commands would be. Also .. what the heck is
the network port? I have the 100Mbit in there and the original 10Mbit
thing is in there also. This is all just like puzzle pieces with no
picture on top.
