 I just reached into the miscellaneous pile of stuff at the back of my
 computer table, and picked up a Multia SCSI controller.  At one end it
 has a flat-pack resistor array labeled 221/331 which is the SCSI
 terminator.  Nothing nearby looks like a fuse to me.

 Kirchoff's law being what it is, or maybe it's Thevenin, you could
 just supply term power from both ends of the bus, and that way the
 Multia would have to provide only half, for its end of the bus.
