It likely won't be a fair comparison at all.  The next time I plan to kick off
a full build is after 2006Q2 is tagged, and it will be different enough to make
the results rather meaningless.

I'm also trying out doing the compiles remotely on a faster i386.  However, the
alpha shares that i386 with a mipsel box also doing pkgsrc bulks.

Normally I just update the branch after every pass, and upload what is new. 
The machine pretty much grinds 24/7 on something.

However.. I will note, that with 512MB of ram.. it crashes alot less often than
it did with 256.
