Hello Alpha hackers and NetBSD developers:

In 6 weeks I am taking delivery of a DEC AlphaServer 8400 mainframe
which takes 14 CPUs and 28GB RAM. First off the machine will have 2
CPUs and 4GB RAM, and some SCSI disks. I am buying up extra CPU and
memory boards as we speak; I hope to get 8 CPUs in it and 16GB RAM by
the time it goes online.

NetBSD alpha developers are welcome to have accounts on the machine. I
will set it up for SSH so people can log in and do work. You can log in
to play, work, or both. :-)

NetBSD developers on other ports interested in working on big iron are
welcome to come along and play too.

My understanding from the NetBSD FAQ is that NetBSD will use only one of
its CPUs. I hope to change this and work on NetBSD Alpha to use all
available CPUs. Anyone who wants to help is welcome.

Praise "Bob"!
