After booting from the two book diskettes and
proceeding through the first few steps of the
installation I get a message that says no disks are
found for the installation.  I have read a few
accounts of running makedev manually and another
account of creating ld* devices manually.  This has
not yielded any results.

I have a single cpu AlphaServer 4100 with two RAID
cabinets (Storage Works RAID Array 230/Plus
Subsystem).

I am trying to install 1.6.2.

Thoughts?
