This has probably been discussed to death, but...

Is there a recent Java Runtime Environment available for NetBSD/Alpha??
Something compatible with 1.3.2 or newer? I've tried Kaffe, but it appears
to be around the 1.2 level. Blackdown, Wonka, and the Sun packages appear
to be i386 only even in pkgsrc form. I downloaded the Tru64 1.4.1 (and
other) RTE kit(s), but running it gets me an error:

20662:/usr/local/java/bin/java: /emul/osf1/sbin/loader: Fatal Error:
cannot map libpthread.so

Probably because the kits are built for Tru64 4.0F and later.

Any help or am I out of luck running modern Java apps on my Alpha?

Incidentally, this is NetBSD 1.6N on an AlphaStation 255/233.
