you'll find KDE binary packages for NetBSD/alpha 1.6W on my private
website

But as there has been a security issue with this version of KDE, you'll
have to evaluate if you want to use them or not. I'm just trying to build
the new KDE on a recently updated NetBSD-current, but haven't finished
yet. If I succeed, I'll post it again on the list.
