I just installed 1.6U, and wow, it is nice to have a good
console install now... thanks to the Alpha gurus, or
whomever made that possible....

Question.... Where is the set of X bits that can be used
to make a runnable X on a 3000 class turbochannel
machine with a pmag-b class card? I thought I saw a
pointer to such bits, but have lost it. Any leads
thereto, are appreciated.

Thanks

Bob Keys

Just thinking out loud..... what might it take to add a
turbochannel X server compile into current? Would
such a thing be posible? That would save a lot of
headache, and make for some nice older boxes to
run X, without having to stand on one's head, upside
down in a snowstorm, uphill both ways to school.....
as the old saying goes.....(:+}}...
